America’s Stonehenge
Maryhill, Washington
You do not have to travel across the proverbial pond to visit Stonehenge. America’s version of the structure overlooks the mighty Columbia River which divides the states of Oregon and Washington. Stonehenge was built as a World War I memorial to those men from Klickitat County who died while in service to their country and is part of the Maryhill Museum.
